working on the spark..

i've been in a relationship for exactly 15 months today.. ;)
i must say.. it wasn't easy..
but everyday spending it with him is all worth it..
we may say that the start is very easy, full of nothing but pure fun and happiness..
and as time goes by.. hardships come and go and all you could do is surpass them all, be stronger and grow..
but that does not mean that the relationship would be less filled with love..
the important thing is you know how to listen, forgive and compromise..
and of course, constantly work on the spark..
do random stuffs together..
always spend quality time when you are together..
but also have some alone time, apart..
hug and cuddle..
have fun..
do something silly..
support each other..
respect each other..
travel..
surprise him/her..
do something sweet..
appreciate and try out each others interests..
help each other..
be each other's best friends..

two people..

all these years.. ive been tryin my best to deeply understand LOVE..
what and how it's supposed to be..

after all the things that ive been through, ive come to realize that there's so much that you can do, there's so much that you have to sacrifice.. and that there are things that you must change.. not just for the relationship, but for yourself as well..

still, there are things which haven't changed that i knew about love..

it is having to be considerate and sensitive..
it is a give and take relationship.. and most importantly..
it is about TWO PEOPLE..
(never a one-voice-heard relationship)

loving each other unconditionally, kissing and hugging, making each other happy, appreciating everything..what both can give, accepting each other's fault, being there for each other, trying to do whatever they can to sustain the love, relieving all the good and happy moments each day, listening, taking in consideration and respecting what they both feel.

remember.. you are in a relationship to be happy, to smile, to laugh and to make good memories. not to constantly be upset, to feel hurt and to cry.
